Google Earth Treasures: Alphabet

Australian graphic designer Rhett Dashwood scoured Google Earth to create the first Google Maps alphabet.

Using satellite images of natural phenomenons and buildings Dashwood was able to reproduce all 26 letters of the Roman alphabet.

Facebook Follies: Stolen Photos Appear in Czech Ad

A Missouri family was surprised to find that a picture taken for their family Christmas card and posted on their Facebook profile, has appeared as part of a billboard on a food store in Prague, the Czech Republic.

The photo was being used as an advertisement without any authorization. The owner of Grazie, the store in question, said he took it from the internet and he had no idea it belonged to a real family.
